WOW! Shocked I can believe this forum is back and working again. I would always check and it would still be gone. Glad to see you guys are still around.

Well here's the problem. I bought some PIAA 930's on ebay about 5 years ago and they were the perfect driving light. Then about 2 years ago I had a accident up in the mountains and smashed into a snow covered guardrail and ruined my front bumper along with my beloved HID's Sad

I was very distraught over the whole thing and just put what was left of the lights in a box and sealed them up. My bad luck continued with my car being stolen and stripped after only a few months back from the body shop but thats another story.

After lurking around the candle power forums for a while it brought back a memory of my 930s. I just tonight opened the box and inspected them.
It appears that one whole light is intact, both Ballasts seem unharmed other then some cosmetic scratches, and one light is totally smashed in the front (including the bulb) with no apparent damage anywhere else except the glass. The connecters seem undamaged but i never got back all the wires that came with them that hooked them up to the battery. Both brackets are really bent too.
I will post some pix. They didnt turn out very clear but you guys will get the picture...

ballasts

I guess what i really want is the opinion of the experts Wink on what i should do. I know if i try to get them fixed or replaced through PIAA usa it will be a big headache and very hard on the wallet. Think maybe one of you guys might be able to retro them in another set on driving lights or projectors? I wouldnt have a clue on how to do it. I was thinking about emailing suvlights to see if they could fix them. Think that might be cheaper?
Anyway, glad to see this forum alive and kicking once again.

The X900 (round), X950, X965/968 same housing different beam pattern, & X914 may fit the ballast plug you have (they are designed to fit the AMP socket of Hella/Philips ballast)

http://suvlights.tripod.com/hidauxlights/

the X965/968 & X914 are the same lights supplied to Bosch:

http://aa.bosch.de/advastaboschaa/Product.jsp?prod_id=262&ccat_id=22&language=en-GB&publication=1&flash=true

the X950 rectangular would be similar to what you had.

I just added some additional lights (2 pages)
